Welcome to People For Change

Equality Club- Dayanand Public School

Dayanand Public School in association with ‘YLAC’, ‘Oxfam India’’ and ‘People For Change’ launched Equality Club with the aim of familiarising students with different types of inequalities based on gender, diversity and economic conditions which exist in society.

“This club can serve as a great platform for students to build critical thinking, explore challenges, face social problems, break stereotype thought and practices and gain the skill necessary to take on social leadership.

This will also help them to build empathy and appreciation for their own privilege and familiarization with different types of inequality that exists in the society,” said, Swarna Mishra, Principal, Dayanand Public School.

The School formulates 4 clubs with 35 to 40 students in each. All the students are from Std VIII, IX and XI.

YLAC’s Equality Clubs Incubator

We need your help to support the three winning teams of YLAC’s Equality Clubs Incubator in bringing their social impact ideas to life! YLAC has partnered with People For Change to launch an online fundraiser and raise Rs. 3,50,000 for these amazing student teams. The students are working on some fantastic initiatives, from helping rural women artisans grow their businesses online to introducing Indian Sign Language training to young learners.
