Jamshedpur Cares is a People For Change initiative in response to COVID-19 with the aim bringing together passionate young people with a deep desire to engage in actions to change status quo.It is an open platform primarily engaged in working for relief and recovery during and post covid.It strives to solve current issues of accessibility to information and resources that the most marginalized sections of society are facing, and helping them return to the “new normal” and to more resilient communities. It is an open platform to assemble all people who love Jamshedpur and would want to lend a helping hand in these testing times. They can discuss freely, initiate action and become the change they wish to see in society.
The volunteers are presently working on projects to provide monthly ration kits to more than 2,000 families on the verge of starvation, supplying PPE kits and Oxygen concentrators.
